Our Story

Blau Adventures was born far from Pucón — but with its heart set on southern Chile.

It all began in the Soča Valley, Slovenia: between river runs, under the sun, in those mid-season conversations where ideas take shape. Albert and Jasmin —the two behind this project— were working at the same adventure travel company: he guiding kayak and rafting tours, and she working in sales, guest care and coordinating activities with guides and drivers. One day, somewhere between paddles and spreadsheets, they looked at each other and thought: what if we built something of our own?

That’s how Blau began. No name yet, but a clear idea: to create a company where things are done right. Where the guest experience matters just as much as the well-being of the team. And where respect for nature isn’t an afterthought — it’s the foundation.

Why Blau? Because it means blue in both Catalan and German — their native languages. And because that word connects them to what they love most: rivers, movement, stillness, and the depth of water.

Albert is a whitewater kayak and rafting guide with over 20 years of experience in rivers around the world. Jasmin comes from the world of hospitality and tourism, with a focus on guest care, sales, and administrative work. They both live in Pucón — a place that feels like home — and they work together in life and on this adventure.

Blau Adventures believes quality starts from within. That’s why they choose to work with small groups, offer personalized service, and pay attention to every detail — from the first message to the last rapid. Because yes: every step matters.

They may be a small team, but they know what they’re doing and how they want to do it. They care about the details, are honest in their approach, and want every person who joins them to feel well taken care of — from start to finish.
